As America’s all-time bestselling SUV, the new Ford Explorer delivers just the right amount of thrilling on-road performance that you’re looking for. The 2022 Ford Explorer ST will now come standard with rear-wheel-drive, with the option of Intelligent 4WD. This update gives SUV driving enthusiasts more options to control their on-road performance. The performance SUV’s 3.0-liter EcoBoost® engine remains the same, which is a good thing since it delivers an incredible 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque.
Similarly, the 2022 Explorer ST-Line enhances the styling of the SUV without giving you its full power and capability of the ST. This model offers generates 300 horsepower with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® and 10-speed automatic transmission. The Explorer ST-Line is plenty powerful in terms of performance, and it backs it up with an incredibly stylish appearance.
The exterior of the 2022 Explorer ST-Line offers the same features as a fully equipped Explorer ST, such as a gloss-black EXPLORER hood badging, blacked-out grille, and fascia-integrated dual exhaust tips. When you move inside the performance-inspired Explorer ST-Line, you will find Ebony Black ActiveX™-trimmed seats with Miko® inserts, heated sport-style steering wheel and first-row seats, and red accent stitching throughout the cabin.
