The 2023 Ford F-150 is coming soon, and it’s bringing yet another awesome new option to the table. Joining the new 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler trim will be a special Heritage Edition that celebrates 75 years of excellence for the F-Series.

Ford announced the Heritage Edition as a new package option for the 2023 F-150 XLT. While it’ll leave most of the equipment and features of the F-150 XLT intact, it’ll add one particularly cool feature: a two-tone colorway inspired by classic trucks from the 1970s and ’80s.

The 2023 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition comes in three combinations. Every truck features an A-B-A pattern with one color on the upper and lower elements and one color in the middle of the vehicle.

  • Antimatter Blue in the middle with Carbonized Gray on the top and bottom
  • Area 51 in the middle with Agate Black on the top and bottom
  • Atlas Blue in the middle with Agate Black on the top and bottom
  • Avalanche in the middle with Agate Black on the top and bottom
  • Race Red in the middle with Carbonized Gray on the top and bottom

Ford hasn’t revealed yet how much the Heritage Edition will cost, but the order banks should be open for the 2023 F-150 before the end of the month. If you’d like to learn more or order yours, contact the sales team at Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Tips for Hauling with Your New Ford F-150

Hauling With F-150 | Packey Webb Ford | Downers Grove, IL

If you’re looking for a truck that does some heavy-duty hauling, the 2022 Ford F-150 is unsurpassed. The new 2022 Ford F-150 offers best-in-class towing up to 14,000 pounds[1] and best-in-class payload up to 3,325 pounds.[2] But even with all that power, you’ll need to know a few tips for using your truck properly.

Do your research

While those max numbers are certainly impressive, every version of the F-150 offers slightly different capacities based on its engine, cab style, bed size, and so on. Before you hook up a trailer or put something heavy in the truck bed, make sure you check your owner’s manual or doorjamb and see what you can carry.

Use the tools at your disposal

If you’re getting a new 2022 Ford F-150, towing and hauling is easy even if it’s your first time. The new F-150 offers advanced features like Smart Hitch and Smart Trailer Tow Connector, which make hooking up a trailer surprisingly easy. With available Onboard Scales, your F-150 can tell you exactly how much weight is being carried in the bed so that you don’t have to guess how close you are to maxing out on payload.

And there’s even more where that came from. The new F-150 even gives you confidence for maneuvering with a trailer attached thanks to features like Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ and Trailer Sway Control. If you want a truck for hauling, the 2022 Ford F-150 is tops in more ways than one.

Introducing the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning Mega Power Frunk

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning | Packey Webb Ford | Downers Grove, IL

The 2022 F-150 Lightning is the groundbreaking new all-electric pickup truck Ford, and thanks to its lack of an engine, it comes with an exciting feature: the Mega Power Frunk.

Ford took customer feedback into consideration when designing the frunk — or front trunk — on the F-150 Lightning. Customers were eager to have a pickup truck with lockable storage, better for protecting valuables than the typical truck bed.

Ford customers wanted ample space with the F-150 Lightning, and Ford has delivered with the Mega Power Frunk. The largest front trunk of any truck in the industry, the F-150 Lightning Mega Power Frunk is designed to be asymmetrical, capable of fitting two golf bags, but it’s perfect for all kinds of luggage.

And that’s not the only way the Mega Power Frunk is super versatile. The frunk comes with four electrical outlets and two USB charging ports. It also has lights in the hood to light up the cargo space, rather than inside the frunk, to keep cargo from blocking the lights.

Ford has guaranteed that the Mega Power Frunk is as functional and convenient as possible, sporting a rubberized floor with drainage so you can easily clean out any spills. You can even access the frunk with the FordPass app on your phone, one of six different ways to open the hood of the frunk.

The Mega Power Frunk is just one of the many, many reasons to check out the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. It’ll be arriving in the spring of this year, and you can learn more about this game-changer by contacting the team at Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois.
