Dash cams are a great innovation that help protect drivers on the road. There are plenty of reasons to buy a dash cam for your Ford, especially if you do a lot of driving in the city and want to cover your bases.
Protection against theft and vandalism
If you get a dash cam with cloud storage, it can help protect you in the event that your car is stolen. Front-facing dash cams could catch thieves and vandals in the act and be used as evidence to bring them to justice.
Helpful for car accidents
In the event of a collision, the account of events comes down to your word, the word of any other parties involved, and the word of witnesses. These accounts came sometimes vary, especially if another party is at fault and wants to shift blame to seem less culpable. One of the best reasons to buy a dash cam is to make sure that the story is straight, giving you a video of the incident that you can share with police and your insurance provider.
2023 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage Edition SUVs pay tribute to the classic 1966 model with exclusive two-tone colorways. Every model offers a contrast Oxford White roof and Oxford White grille with contrasting Race Red lettering. These elements pair beautifully with body colors like Race Red, Robin’s Egg Blue, and Yellowstone Metallic.
And on top of these distinctive color options, stylish wheels with retro flair, and vintage Bronco script badges, you’re still getting high-quality, high-performance off-road vehicles. For example, the 2023 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition builds on the Big Bend® model, which means you get a 300-horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost®, standard 4×4, the Sasquatch® Package, and a HOSS 2.0 System.
If you’ve been biding your time and waiting for your chance to get a new Bronco or Bronco Sport, the 2023 Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition prove that patience pays off. Contact Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois, and learn how you can be one of the lucky folks to take one home next year.
Ford continues to demonstrate its commitment to protecting our planet and making a better tomorrow through action and deed. Recently, Ford announced that it will join the First Movers Coalition, a movement to use purchasing power and supply chains to push for cleaner energy.
The First Movers Coalition currently consists of 50 companies from around the globe. Valued at a combined $8.5 trillion, this coalition will use its economic might to advocate for clean energy technology. Ford is contributing to this cause with a pledge to purchase at least 10% near-zero carbon steel and aluminum by 2030.
Ford has even larger goals in sight. The automaker has set forth science-based goals for temperature reduction for 2035 and plans to be carbon neutral by no later than 2050.
Ford is also committing to a cleaner tomorrow with more sustainable vehicles like the F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E. If you plan to go electric sometime in the near future, contact the sales team at Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois.

The prestigious North American Car, Truck and Utility of the Year Awards were held in January, and Ford made an impressive showing yet again. Both the new Ford Bronco SUV and Maverick compact truck took home top prizes with the former winning 2022 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year and the latter winning Truck of the Year.
The brand-new Ford Maverick was named the North American Truck of the Year, beating out several tough competitors thanks to its incredible fuel economy, versatility, and value. Key features that make the Maverick a multi-award winner include its FLEXBED™, standard hybrid engine, and standard rear under-seat storage.
The Ford Bronco took home the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Award, making Ford the winner of two out of the three categories at NACTOY. Judges hailed the Bronco as worthy competition for other trail-rated brands, as well as for its smart tech that elevates it above the pack.
NACTOY isn’t the only place the Bronco and Maverick have been recognized. Over 10 publications awarded the new Bronco with awards for best adventure vehicle, best off-roader, car of the year, and more. And the Maverick has won a best vehicle and best truck of the year awards from Green Car Journal, KBB, Detroit Free Press, and Popular Science, to name a few.
Using Pro Power Onboard, the F-150 Lightning or Hybrid can add up to 20 miles of charge in an hour for smaller vehicles. Testing shows that you could use this feature to help another F-150 Lightning recover up to 13 miles in an hour.
It’s also easy to use the vehicle-to-vehicle charging feature. Using the standard Ford Mobile Power Cord and an available power adapter, you can connect to any other electric vehicle with an SAE J1772 charge port. This includes the Mustang Mach-E, E-Transit, and EVs from other automakers.
This is just one of the many ways you can use Pro Power Onboard not just for yourself but your friends and neighbors. This feature is perfect for charging tools, laptops, televisions, area lighting, and so much more. The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is even more advanced with available features like Ford Intelligent Backup Power, which can charge your home during a power outage, as well as incredible power and range.
There are hundreds of reasons to be excited about the all-new Ford Maverick, which is rolling out to Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois, as you read this. But those who are interested in going green and saving some green at the pump will perhaps be most thrilled to learn that the 2022 Ford Maverick offers incredible fuel economy.
The 2022 Ford Maverick is the first-ever standard hybrid pickup in America, and it is now the most fuel-efficient hybrid pickup on the market today. The EPA has rated Maverick with the 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid for 42 mpg in the city, 33 mpg on the highway, and 37 mpg combined. This great fuel economy allows the 2022 Ford Maverick to go up to 500 miles on a single tank of gas.
Because of these great numbers — and a litany of great features — the Ford Maverick hybrid is more or less sold out until reservations open in the summer of 2022 for the next model year. Fortunately, the Ford Maverick is also available with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine that’s more powerful but still plenty efficient.

Nothing screams adventure and excitement better than the Ford Bronco, and Ford recently revealed a small sneak peek into a Bronco special edition model that will elevate the excitement and enhance the adventure. Ford announced that it will unveil the Ford Bronco Raptor in 2022, taking its Built Wild™ SUV up to an entirely new level.
A short teaser video contains a close-up of the grille that contains all-caps Ford lettering, the Raptor logo, and a bright Code Orange exterior. Other than what we see in the video, the details about the exciting Bronco Raptor are sparse, but we can speculate about what the Bronco Raptor will have to offer based on the features of the Ford F-150 Raptor. Distinct features of the high-performance variant of the F-150 include a higher-output engine and FOX™ Live Valve™ shocks, so we can probably see those translated over to the Bronco Raptor as well.
Ford says it will reveal the Bronco Raptor sometime in 2022, so we don’t have too much longer to wait.
As we eagerly wait for more details about the Bronco Raptor, we have received some updates about the 2022 Ford Bronco’s color choices. As a callback to the Mallard Green paint featured on first-generation Bronco models created in the 1970s, the new 2022 Ford Bronco will be available in Eruption Green Metallic. The Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat will also be new for the 2022 model year.
