The all-new F-150 Lightning has officially entered production, and it’s rolling out with even better range than expected. Final EPA estimates put maximum range for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning at 320 miles — topping the original estimate of 300 miles.
When the EPA wrapped testing of the new 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning, it upgraded the range totals for all models with the extended-range battery. The fleet-only Pro, XLT, and Lariat now offer up to 320 miles on a single charge. Range totals for the Platinum also jumped 20 miles from 280 to 300 miles.
EPA testing upheld the original range estimates for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning with the standard-range battery. All SR models top out at 230 miles of range.
Of course, range is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the 2022 Ford F-150. You get impressive horsepower and torque, which means quicker acceleration than any other F-150 ever made. It also offers impressive towing and payload, off-road capabilities, and cutting-edge features like BlueCruise and Ford Intelligent Backup Power.

Probably the most unique feature of the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades is the Ford-designed and -developed class-exclusive snorkel on the passenger-side A-pillar. Running up toward the roof of the Everglades, this tool allows the Bronco to pull in fresh, clean air even when it’s fording through deep water or pushing through a dust storm.
With this feature and massive 35-inch tires, the Bronco Everglades four-door can plow through up to 36.4 inches of water like it’s nothing at all. And for those occasions where someone needs a quick bail-out, the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades also features a ZEON 10-S WARN® winch with the power to pull up to 10,000 pounds.
On top of all this, the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades is especially stylish. The prestigious North American Car, Truck and Utility of the Year Awards were held in January, and Ford made an impressive showing yet again. Both the new Ford Bronco SUV and Maverick compact truck took home top prizes with the former winning 2022 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year and the latter winning Truck of the Year.
The brand-new Ford Maverick was named the North American Truck of the Year, beating out several tough competitors thanks to its incredible fuel economy, versatility, and value. Key features that make the Maverick a multi-award winner include its FLEXBED™, standard hybrid engine, and standard rear under-seat storage.
The Ford Bronco took home the North American Utility Vehicle of the Year Award, making Ford the winner of two out of the three categories at NACTOY. Judges hailed the Bronco as worthy competition for other trail-rated brands, as well as for its smart tech that elevates it above the pack.
NACTOY isn’t the only place the Bronco and Maverick have been recognized. Over 10 publications awarded the new Bronco with awards for best adventure vehicle, best off-roader, car of the year, and more. And the Maverick has won a best vehicle and best truck of the year awards from Green Car Journal, KBB, Detroit Free Press, and Popular Science, to name a few.

The 2022 F-150 Lightning is the groundbreaking new all-electric pickup truck Ford, and thanks to its lack of an engine, it comes with an exciting feature: the Mega Power Frunk.
Ford took customer feedback into consideration when designing the frunk — or front trunk — on the F-150 Lightning. Customers were eager to have a pickup truck with lockable storage, better for protecting valuables than the typical truck bed.
Ford customers wanted ample space with the F-150 Lightning, and Ford has delivered with the Mega Power Frunk. The largest front trunk of any truck in the industry, the F-150 Lightning Mega Power Frunk is designed to be asymmetrical, capable of fitting two golf bags, but it’s perfect for all kinds of luggage.
And that’s not the only way the Mega Power Frunk is super versatile. The frunk comes with four electrical outlets and two USB charging ports. It also has lights in the hood to light up the cargo space, rather than inside the frunk, to keep cargo from blocking the lights.
Ford has guaranteed that the Mega Power Frunk is as functional and convenient as possible, sporting a rubberized floor with drainage so you can easily clean out any spills. You can even access the frunk with the FordPass app on your phone, one of six different ways to open the hood of the frunk.
The Mega Power Frunk is just one of the many, many reasons to check out the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. It’ll be arriving in the spring of this year, and you can learn more about this game-changer by contacting the team at Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois.
