Ford F-150 Lightning, F-150 Hybrid Offer Vehicle-to-Vehicle Charging

2022 Ford F-150 Lightning | Packey Webb Ford | Downers Grove, IL

When you get the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning or the F-150 PowerBoost® Hybrid, you can help other electrified cars out with vehicle-to-vehicle charging. This is possible thanks to available Pro Power Onboard, a built-in generator that lets you power tools, electronics, and yes, other vehicles on the go.

Using Pro Power Onboard, the F-150 Lightning or Hybrid can add up to 20 miles of charge in an hour for smaller vehicles. Testing shows that you could use this feature to help another F-150 Lightning recover up to 13 miles in an hour.

It’s also easy to use the vehicle-to-vehicle charging feature. Using the standard Ford Mobile Power Cord and an available power adapter, you can connect to any other electric vehicle with an SAE J1772 charge port. This includes the Mustang Mach-E, E-Transit, and EVs from other automakers.

This is just one of the many ways you can use Pro Power Onboard not just for yourself but your friends and neighbors. This feature is perfect for charging tools, laptops, televisions, area lighting, and so much more. The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is even more advanced with available features like Ford Intelligent Backup Power, which can charge your home during a power outage, as well as incredible power and range.

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is coming to Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois, this spring. You can also order the powerful, efficient F-150 PowerBoost® Hybrid, or stop into our showroom and check out the great selection of F-150 trucks we have available today.

As a stylish, fun-to-drive, and confidence-inspiring electric vehicle, the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E blows away the competition. The latest proof? A No. 1 finish for the Mustang Mach-E in the Car and Driver Electric Vehicle of the Year competition.

After weeks of tough real-world testing, Car and Driver had nothing but raves for the Mustang Mach-E.

“We felt that if a carmaker was looking to convert people from EV skeptics to EV evangelists, there’s not a better vehicle out there than the Mustang Mach-E,” said Sharon Carty, the editor-in-chief of Car and Driver. “It’s a familiar shape and size of crossover. It’s in the sweet spot of what Americans love. It’s beautiful. It’s a design that gets noticed. It has a range and charging speed that is very competitive.”

The Mustang Mach-E is an incredibly enjoyable vehicle to drive. The entry-level Select model delivers 266 horsepower, up to 428 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds for eAWD models.* It handles like a dream, too, and provides up to 230 miles of range. California Route 1, Premium, and GT models come with even more range and power.**

Inside, the Mustang Mach-E gives you tons of space for passengers and cargo, a standard 15.5-inch touch screen with SYNC® 4A infotainment, and comfortable seats trimmed in Black Onyx ActiveX™.

There’s so much more to know about the 2021 Mustang Mach-E, and we can’t wait to show this award-winning EV to you here at Packey Webb Ford in Downers Grove, Illinois.
