The all-new F-150 Lightning has officially entered production, and it’s rolling out with even better range than expected. Final EPA estimates put maximum range for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning at 320 miles — topping the original estimate of 300 miles.

When the EPA wrapped testing of the new 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning, it upgraded the range totals for all models with the extended-range battery. The fleet-only Pro, XLT, and Lariat now offer up to 320 miles on a single charge. Range totals for the Platinum also jumped 20 miles from 280 to 300 miles.

EPA testing upheld the original range estimates for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning with the standard-range battery. All SR models top out at 230 miles of range.

Of course, range is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the 2022 Ford F-150. You get impressive horsepower and torque, which means quicker acceleration than any other F-150 ever made. It also offers impressive towing and payload, off-road capabilities, and cutting-edge features like BlueCruise and Ford Intelligent Backup Power.
